    Default Waiting

This endless wait is driving me mad!

Our donor agreed to go ahead 3 weeks ago (yesterday). And still we have not had any feedback from her FS visit, bloods etc. I left a message for the sister yesterday, because my Minulette was almost finished. Someone else called me back to say she is very busy and will call me in a few days time. In the meantime I must get another pack and skip the pills that bring on the period. Hopefully this is a good thing - I dont know. But I am ready to scream. My mom calls me every day to ask if I have heard anything - we are all so anxious!

Sorry for the moan - I know these things take time, but surely I should have heard something after 3 weeks...

    Hey Robyn

I think that time frame is plenty cause for throwing your toys out with the nurses. Demand to have a donor update, and know if there is some sort of plan. I would. And just keep leaving messages if they don't return your call.

Instructing you to skip the red pills can be because you might be aligning your cycle with the donors, hence in a couple of weeks hence you skip. But somebody at the clinic should confirm that it is your doctors' instruction, and should give you an explanation about why if that is the case.

    Good luck, Kim

I agree Robyn! I think you are quite within your rights to throw your toys! You are the client afterall. Why don't you email your FS and say you need to know and are disappointed with the nurse?

Hope you get some good 'go ahead' news soon!

    Shame Robyn!
    I agree!
You are paying A TON of money for this service.
A phone call from at least one of the nurses to update you will take them 5 mins.
I think it's time to throw your toys!
I hope you get good news.

I also agree. tell them you are really anxious and want someone to phone you and explain. You've invested so much time, emotional energy and money and answers are the least you can expect!

3 weeks is a bit excessive, if you can, why dont you go there to speak to the nurses? I know they have to go for a psych discussion with a therapist, which could be delaying things or else she hasnt yet had a period to do Day 2 tests? But at least you need an explanation.

Definitely need to make a call to the FS himself or the nurse and DEMAND to speak to them. It is your money, your body and your time. Good luck and hang in there !
