    Default 5dp5dt

    Hi girls

Did HPT yesterday. 5dp5dt - Positive.

What is the odds? Can it be wrong? Pam (from Medfem) said that it might be too soon but I have never heard of a false positive before?!

    Hi Natashja,

Pam is right, it could be too soon. Did you have an ovidrel injection? Cause sometimes that can cause an early Positive sign on a HPT, including other IVF meds.
But I really hope that it's a BFP for you!!!! Why don't you try POAS'ing again on Saturday? Cause then you should be 9dp5dt? The results should be more accurate by then. That's when I tested with my last cycle and the results were accurate. Hoping it's a BFP for you!!!

    Hi there

Personally, I think it's a BFP, but keep testing as one just never knows. I have done hpt on 8dp5dt (not always first thing) and got positives and my beta values are always on the low side. I think Daryl started testing positive on 6dp5dt.
Oh wow, really hope this is it.

    Hi Katherine & Tianna

I did the HPT last night (dont know what came over me !) so it wasnt first thing in the morning. The positive line was quite distinct (faint, but definitely there). No Tianna, never had an ovidrel injection (what is that?) I am just on the gestone injections and basically progynova tablets (and cortisone tablets and something like disprin, I was told).

Oooh this is great! Might be a bfp! Pam said I can come in for the bloodtest on Friday but we are going to Umhlanga on Thursday! Demmit the wait is killing me.

If you didn't have a trigger shot then sounds like a positive to me!

THe fact that you are picking it up so early is also a good sign of a nice strong beta.

I tested 6dp5dt and got a very very faint positive that just got stronger every day after that.

Well done- I think you can do a little dance of joy.

Will be watching with interest to see what the beta count is.
