    Default Adoption Order Granted!

    We received our adoption order today, so our little sausage is now officially our son forever Still some administrative stuff to wade through (registering the adoption and changing his name), but the adoption itself is now complete

    Wow, such an amazing feeling. Went out for lunch to celebrate - our first time at a restaurant as a family of 3
    Me: 36 (High FSH / Low AMH)
    DH: 36 (Low Morphology)

    History: 6 X IVF(ICSI) cycles; two second trimester miscarriages, 1 stillbirth
    Missing my babies every day...

    Adopted our gorgeous baby boy who came home 27/02/2012

    What wonderful news!
    Me: 31 (no diagnosis but clearly there is a problem)
    DH: 38 (2% morph)
    Unexplained infertility - tested everything testable and still no answers...
    TTC 7yrs and counting
    6 x IVF/ICSI
    Spontaneous preg m/c 9wks
    Surro m/c 8wks

    POA: We are waiting for our miracle through adoption. Our hearts are at peace...

    ADOPTION
    We moved to SA in April 2011 (I was in the UK 14 years, DH is British) and began our Adoption journey.
    15th Nov 2011: we are officially ON THE LIST!!! Come on Birth Moms...choose us!
    14th Dec 2012: we got THE CALL!! A Baby Boy born 8/12/12.
    18th Dec 2012: Ashton came home

    TREATMENT
    1st ICSI 2007 in UK 2, LP, 1 embie, BFN
    2nd ICSI 2009 Medfem Dr Rod, SP, 2 Blasts, still BFN
    3rd & final ICSI June/July 2012 Vitalab and Dr V - ZIFT - 4 zygotes transferred 20th June, 1st ever BFP on 3rd July

    PREGNANCY
    Beta's: 14DPO 124, 16DPO 251, 18DPO 544, 20DPO 714 (!!) 25DPO 2147 (back on track!)
    Heartbeat seen 21st July 6wks4days ; 30th July HB 150bpm measuring a bit behind dates; 6th Aug HB 176bpm catching up slightly and looking like a baby; 13th Aug HB 179bpm our precious one is still growing well and waved at us; 22nd Aug HB 167bpm our LO was moving and wriggling around so much, sac has grown a bit and all looking good; FAS 12wk1d 29th Aug HB 164bpm our LO is measuring normal in every way; 14wk1day 12th Sept HB 145bpm LO on track and active, saw spine in detail, eyes and lenses; 17wk3day 5th Oct LO is measuring on track and waving away, Doc pleased with progress; 7th Oct Gender Reveal Tea... we're having a GIRL!!
    15th November: We received the news that our BG had an unbalanced 3 way Chromosome Translocation, to add to the severe Hydrocephalus that was diagnosed on 24th October at our 20 week scan We proceeded to talk to every specialist we could find, incl ones in UK and USA and they all had the same advice: Terminate for BG's good and to save her from a life not even half lived :'(
    22nd November 2012: Eloise Iris Seana was born sleeping :'( Mommy and Daddy miss you every day Baby Girl

    7 week scan: two sacs, one beautiful little munchkin 11.4mm with perfect heartbeat - what an special moment!
    9 week scan: our little jellybean is now 23.6mm and waving arms and legs!
    13 week scan. All perfect and it's a GIRL!
    13 weeks. Sub chorionic haematoma but stable for now. Bed rest indefinitely.
    20 week scan. Our precious munchkin is perfect with the most breathtaking little face. Haematoma has shrunk dramatically and everything on track. Modified bed rest whoo hoo!
    22 week scan. Haematoma is gone!! Precious baby girl weighs 493g.
    28 weeks. Steroids on board
    30 week scan. Sweetie pie opening her eyes and playing with her feet. Falling more and more in love...now weighing 1.3 kg
    32 week scan. Weight shot up to 1.85kg! My little superstar!
    33 to 35 weeks - scans three times a week due to low amniotic fluid and poor dopplers
    36 weeks: premature labour - precious angel born on 18.2.13 weighing 2.35kg with a length of 48cm. Never before have I experienced such overwhelming joy!

    28/04/2012 - Natural BFP - beta at 13200 (5-6 weeks)
    07/05/2012 - Saw heartbeat, baby measures 9mm
    24/05/2012 - (9w6d) Baby measures 3.04cm
    12/06/2012 - (12w4d) Baby mesaures 6.23cm
    10/07/2012 - (16w4d) AND WE HAVING A GIRL!!
    21/08/2012 - (22w4d) Baby love weighs 459g and all perfect
    18/09/2012 - (26w4d) Baby love weights 930g and just to beautiful!!
    17/10/2012 - (30w5d) Baby love weights 1.5kg and seems she wants to come early
    08/11/2012 - (33w6d) Baby love weights 1.996kg
