    Default hcg levels

    Hi ladies,

    I can't remember...how often do hcg levels double? Mine have gone from 42 to 63 in 48hours...should I be concerned?

    Hey Jules

    They should double every 48 to 72 hours, so don't be stressing just yet. Are you going for another beta?

    Lots of ladies have gone one to have beautiful babies after some shaky first few beta's (eg Lesley, Katherine, AngC etc).

    I know it's easier said than done, but please try not to stress and KUP.

    I'm praying all will be well with your LO!
    TTC: 11.5 years
    Married: 16 years
    ME: 41 - Endo 2, polyps, adenomyosis, abnormal papsmears and cysts on ovaries
    DH: 42 - 48% chromosomally abnormal sperm
    2 Colposcopies, 2 Lap's, 4 hysteroscopies, and D & C evac
    8 IUI's - All BFN
    2 IVF's - BFN
    1 FET - BFN (with IL)
    Last IVF (april 2010) (with IL) - BFP but m/c @ 10 weeks (trisomy 13) & blighted ovum @ 7 weeks

    I'm with Daryl don't stress yet- mine was a miracle story.. and todat I have a gorgeos 9mth old baby. Take one day at a time.. KUP.

    Early betas "should" double between 48 and 72 hours. Your numbers are still in the normal range. Check out my numbers below, like Daryl said mine are very similar to yours. Embryos don't read textbooks

    Unfortunately things aren't looking good...have really bad af pains and I did an hpt this arvie, which is negative.

    Jules, I am sorry ! It is cruel !!

    I think it is worth to go for another BT to see if the levels rise or drop and keep taking the meds in the meantime !

    Oh no Jules. Definitely go for another BHCG. I got a negative HPT on the same day as a BHCG of 99.
